About the author

I'm Daniel Barber and my spirit name is Two Trees. Intent on exploring the best ways to bring healing, justice and love in this world, I’ve taken a circuitous journey through social work, quantitative social systems research, computing tech support, video production for nonprofits, political activism, music and ritual. I’ve collaborated with many good and capable people addressing many thorny questions and profound challenges. Throughout most of that, a central question for me was always “how do we get from where we are to where we want to be?” I find that "1) Listen carefully, 2) Feel deeply, and 3) Play it out" (rinse/repeat) works pretty well.
